The Shop Card is a real offset to the membership fee, but it only lands if you sign up online, enroll in auto renewal with an accepted card and wait up to two weeks for the email. Renewals, upgrades and Costco employees are excluded, and the card cannot be used at U.S. or Canadian food courts.
