How to find furniture from a picture

Use a clear photo of the piece from the front, in daylight if you can. If it’s a whole room, we list each piece so you can pick the one you want. Shops describe furniture by style, material and shape, such as a “curved boucle loveseat”, so that’s what we search for. That finds pieces with the same character, even when the exact one isn’t sold anywhere.

Shopping a room piece by piece

If your picture shows a whole room, we list each piece we can see, so you can look at the sofa, the lamp and the rug one at a time. Type a budget such as “under $300” to keep a search within it. Prices are as listed: delivery on furniture can be large, so check it at the shop.

Measure before you buy

A photo can’t tell us a room’s size or a sofa’s depth, so we won’t say a piece will fit. Check the listed dimensions against your room, and against your doorways and stairs.

How we label results

An exact match is a shop’s own listing with the same barcode you scanned. A likely match states the same brand and model we read from your picture, or was found from your barcode. Similar products look alike but may not be the same thing. Every result comes from a real listing we found, and we never make up products, prices or shops.

Yes. Save or screenshot the Pin and upload it. Where Pinterest connection is switched on, you can also choose from your own boards.

Will it find the exact sofa?

Sometimes, but usually it finds similar ones. Furniture rarely shows a model number, so we label these as similar and don’t claim they’re the same piece.
