One search box, six specialists
A sofa, a camera and a designer handbag need different questions. A sofa needs dimensions and style, a camera needs the exact model, and a handbag needs its condition and where it’s resold. Lens reads your search, chooses the specialist that fits, and tells you which one it chose. You can switch at any time without starting again.
How we label results
An exact match is a shop’s own listing with the same barcode you scanned. A likely match states the same brand and model we read from your picture, or was found from your barcode. Similar products look alike but may not be the same thing. Every result comes from a real listing we found, and we never make up products, prices or shops.

Do I need an account?
No. Searching doesn’t need an account.
What happens to my photo?
It’s sent to the services that run the search and isn’t saved on our site. The methodology page explains which services and why.
What if the exact product can’t be found?
We say so, and show the closest products we found, labelled as similar. We don’t present a look-alike as the same product.
