Or shop store images
Pictures come from shopping listings and shops’ product feeds, not from each shop’s own catalogue, so a shop may have more than you see here. Choose one to compare offers.
Identifying a piece isn’t authenticating it
A picture can suggest a brand, a shape and a colourway. It can’t show stitching under magnification, date codes or materials, and copies are made to look right in photos. So treat what we suggest as a starting point. Before paying, look for a seller that authenticates what it sells and accepts returns if a piece proves otherwise.
New or pre-owned?
We list these separately because you’re buying different things. A new piece comes with the brand’s usual terms. A pre-owned one can cost far less, or be the only way to find a discontinued style, but its condition, included accessories and returns vary by seller. Compare those as well as the price.
What to check in a resale listing
Look for close-up photos, the condition grade and how the shop defines it, what’s included such as the dust bag, how it’s authenticated, and what happens if you disagree. A price far below other listings for the same piece is a reason to look harder, not to hurry.
Which shops we look at
We find these through shopping listings, so they appear only when a listing names them: 1stDibs, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Farfetch, SSENSE, Mytheresa, NET-A-PORTER, MR PORTER, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Moda Operandi, LuisaViaRoma, Harrods, Browns Fashion, Cettire, italist, FWRD, Gucci, Prada, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, Burberry, Loewe, Celine, Fendi, Valentino, Givenchy, Cartier, Tiffany, Fashionphile, The RealReal, Vestiaire Collective, Rebag, What Goes Around Comes Around, and Chrono24.
This Lens looks at these shops and no others. No shop pays to be included, and commission plays no part in the order.
How we label results
An exact match is a shop’s own listing with the same barcode you scanned. A likely match states the same brand and model we read from your picture, or was found from your barcode. Similar products look alike but may not be the same thing. Every result comes from a real listing we found, and we never make up products, prices or shops.
Questions
Can you tell me if a bag is real?
No. We can’t authenticate anything from a picture, and we don’t claim to.
Why isn’t the cheapest first?
Because you came for the piece. We show the closest match first, then specialist luxury shops, and only then does price break a tie, higher first. New and pre-owned stay apart, and you can still type a limit such as “under $2000”.
Do you show replicas?
We filter out listings that describe themselves as replicas or copies. No filter is perfect, so report anything you see, and buy from sellers you trust.
We may earn a commission when you buy through links on this page, at no extra cost to you. This doesn’t affect how results are ordered. How Lens works, and what it can’t tell you
