Our take

A flat $100 off an entry-level mirrorless kit is a modest but real cut, and nothing needs clipping — the price already includes the savings. It suits someone starting out in stills and vertical video who wants a compact APS-C body with a lens in the box; the 18-45mm is a basic kit zoom, so budget for a second lens later. The $34/month financing is a separate option with its own terms, not part of the price.

Worth it if you want a compact 4K APS-C mirrorless kit with a lens included and $799 fits your budget.

About this deal

The Canon EOS R50 kit pairs a 24.2MP APS-C mirrorless body with the RF-S 18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM lens, shooting uncropped 4K/30p with Dual Pixel CMOS AF II and a 3-inch touchscreen. Sweetwater lists it at $799 with $100 instant savings applied, down from a stated $899. The discount is built into the price, and the offer is stated as running through 11/30/2026. Financing from $34/month over 24 months is offered separately.
